LMD Disaster Survival Kits & Supply LLC is an online store founded by Michael Cady, MSDM NEMAA an experienced Emergency Management professional committed to enhancing community preparedness and resilience.

Our Background

  • Early Beginnings: Our journey started in the early 1990s with family entertainment events organized by Michael to support first responder and search and rescue organizations. A common feedback was the need for better public preparedness.

  • Founding and Purpose: In 2007, LMD was launched to help individuals, families, and communities become self-reliant amid disasters. We offer disaster survival kits, emergency food storage, and various preparedness supplies to empower personal safety.

Professional Expertise

  • Education: In 2017, Michael pursued formal education in Homeland Security Emergency Management, earning his Bachelor’s degree in 2021. His role as a Disaster Recovery Specialist with the federal government adds practical insights to his expertise.

  • Advanced Studies: Michael advanced his skills further with a Master’s degree in Security and Disaster Management, completed in 2024, focusing on Climate Security.
